Neighbors Unite for a BETTER mineral lease!
By: Louis A. McBee

Friends and Neighbors,
Many of our neighbors are again receiving invitations from Chesapeake/Dale Resources or Paloma/Holland to join them in mineral leasing informational meetings. One at which, they will be VERY glad to accept your signature on a mineral lease on your property, as Four Sevens did in Woodhaven, and they would prefer you do so without reading it.
Even if you do not intend to support the Mineral Leasing Task Force by not signing a lease until we finish our work, PLEASE get an attorney to look at this lease being offered by Dale/ Chesapeake Resources or Paloma/Holland. Also remember that Dale and Holland will not drill one single well in East Fort Worth, so you are not dealing with the actual people who will be changing our very lives. These "land men" are not your friends, not your pals or your buddies. They have but one job. . . to get your signature on a mineral lease at the greatest possible profit for the people who are paying them.
The Greater Meadowbrook Mineral Leasing Task Force is trying to accomplish the
very same thing . . . FOR YOU, PLUS better terms and conditions!
THEY JUST BROKE ALL RECORDS!
Here are some
examples of what other neighborhoods and our city have been able to negotiate,
AND these are not isolated cases. They are real!
1. Greater Meadowbrook Mineral Leasing Task Force: NUMBER ONE IN THE CITY!
$25,000.00 per acre and 26.5% royalty
2. Tanglewood $10,000.00 per acre and 25% royalty
3. Berkley/Ryan Place $10,000.00 per acre and 25% royalty
4. Stonegate $10,000.00 per acre and 25% royalty
5. Mistletoe Heights $12,500.00 per acre and 25% royalty
6. Meacham Airport $17,400.00 per acre and 27% royalty
STILL THINK EAST FORT WORTH CITIZENS
ARE GETTING A FAIR DEAL?
PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE!
